Lets see ...
I remember I used to love staying the night at Aunt Kathy's house because she would make me sunny-side up eggs for breakfast. I would stay 2 nights or so when I went to Gram's for my summer vacation.
I remember staying with Aunt Ellen when my Dad was in the hospital. ( I think ) I was only 3 or 4, but it was cold outside the mobile home and I remember playing around a small tree. I can picture the outside view of the mobile home in my mind. The thing I remember most was Uncle Gary took me to K-Mart on Sunday morning before they opened and I rode a Big Wheel around the aisles ....
I remember going to a 4th of July party on a lake , maybe Warner's Lake at Aunt Diane's and Uncle Bruce's party. It probably was Uncle Bruce's family , but I did learn something that day while avoiding people. Little Larry and I found out that M-80's blew up Under Water !! No, I had no idea till many years later that a M-80 is a 1/4 stick of DYNAMITE !! Yikes !! Oh yeah, we were small children , but there were buckets of fireworks just sitting there on the dock just begging to be played with. So we lit them off for hours, periodically being chased away by an adult.
That's enough for now ...

Love hearing about memories when you were kids.....is that because I've forgotten more than I remember? Well, maybe. But it also stirs memories of my own as well. And we find out 'stuff' we really never knew before...like your setting off fireworks in Warners Lake. Yikes!
Share some more memories, John.
Love, Mom
