John says..

Hows Uncle Bernie ?

Aunt Debb, just wanted to see how he's doing ... Hope everything is well ...

It was wonderful to golf this weekend finally ... Our course is a mess from an icy winter. I stepped up to the 1st tee , teed up a ball , and bombed it down the fairway... I turned to the guy watching and said " not bad for the first swing since December" ... he didn't laugh , but I did ...

Jude - did you take Jackson to Kansas to visit Toto or something ? He is so afraid of the wind. I have to make sure every door is tied down, if they bang in the wind he either wants to hide under my desk or go sit in the middle of the yard... I know Pete loved the wind, maybe its ghosts scaring him.

Bernie is doing better...home recuperating after the surgery.

We had a very nice memorial service for Bernie's Dad at our church on Saturday. It was in conjunction with the funeral services in Nebraska. Same time, same readings, same music, a life celebration for the people who loved "Grandpa" Al.

I'm looking forward to spring ... the black cloud has to go away, soon.

John, I love the new picture.

Love the new picture, John. There must be an artist inside of you--don't you agree, Ashley?

By the way Ashley, I want to thank you again for doing the "photo shoot" with me; the one picture you took of the jar of brushes with me in the background gave me inspiration. I'm using the photo along with "Spiritual Brush Strokes" for my new cards and labels that read:

"Spiritual Brush Strokes"
by Elizabeth Erin Joseph

The artist, Ginny Scavuzzo, is happily at home in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Primarily self-taught, Ginny considers each of her works a miracle.

Thus, she signs each painting with the middle names of her first three miracles --her children--
Jude Elizabeth, Maureen Erin and John Joseph.

The photo adds that special touch!

It's a beautiful day out there today and will only be matched by a better one tomorrow. Let's get out and enjoy it. Love to all, Ginny
