Hi y'all (I'm in Texas country now so they make me talk like this!)

Had one great day since I arrived but the fun begins tomorrow. We board our Continental flight for a 9 am departure. We were all able to upgrade to first-class; isn't that a hoot! I may never fly coach again. In any case, I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Hope the rain clears in the north-east and that you get a few nice days. I'll be back home sooner than you think. Then it will be concentrating on helping Jude and Bill get ready for their move to Virginia. ...and of course, Ellie too. Although I have mixed emotions about their leaving, I think it's exciting for them....and I feel very blessed to have been physically in Ellie's daily life until now. Life is all about change and how we interpret and react to it. I look forward to whatever this change brings.

I hope you are having luck John finding "new digs"..this too is a new beginning for you.

PS Happy Birthday, John on the 15th.

One last note...about Aunt Di's winemaking. She has a beautiful bounty of very professional looking bottles of 'white zin'. They look wonderful...We'll be sampling them in a few months!

Well it's off to Cozumel. Talk to y'all soon. Love, Ginny

Ginny, Enjoy your vacation - you deserve some first-class treatment. See you when you get back.

John, Happy Birthday next week and happy house / apartment hunting.

Jude, Congrats on the new job. Good luck on the move.

Wanted to give you an update on Kendra's Progeria birthday request. I sent a donation along with a letter explaining why Kendra was so taken by this school project including the posting she put on this blog. The Director of the Progeria Foundation called personally to thank Kendra for her Birthday request and said that the world would be a better place if everyone was just a little bit more like Kendra. I agree !

Just got back from the Tulip Festival in Washington Park. It was a beautiful array of colors...and street vendors. Oh the sites and smells.

Happy Mothers Day to all of you mothers out there...Take the day off and relax!

Love, Debb
