John, it's great to see you back ... thought your absence might have had something to do with the move. Missed your updates, I like when you put "the frige" at the top of the list, it's great to have a neutral place to write.

Very glad to hear you're sleeping and feeling better and that the place is shaping up. See you've found that unpacking isn't all bad...it can be like Christmas in "July". It's great to have Ma "Ginny" home.

Prayers still going to Nikki and to you, of course. The connection with her and a bit of laughter is probably just what you need.

Ryan came home for the July 4th weekend ... surprised us all. It was great to see him even for just a few days. He's back in California but planning a trip here in a couple of months. He doesn't consider the distance a deterrent.

Enjoy the weekend - I'm seeing sunshine here in Altamont and lovin it :)

I'm getting "the feel" of being home and back to work after my 10 day hiatis.

I hit the ground running at The Inn; and although we had house guests this weekened, Joey was all for my going out to East Berne for my class picnic today. I'm so happy that I did... these are the oldest friends I have in the world....and there still seems to be a wonderful unconditional love there. Why John Denver was singing "It's good to be back home again" as I drove past Singer Road, I'll never know... but it was a settling feeling.

On another note...John, another treasure in the photo you've chosen! What's not to like about a rainbow; love it!

I, too, have been waiting for you to get back in the groove on Standin on th Moon. I love your written humor...keep it up. And stay in the loop with Nikki...I'm so happy you're continuing to feel good! And you must make her feel good too.

Did anyone see that beautiful moon last night or Thursday? Beautiful!! Last night with one "star" along side!

Debb, I'm ready for "girls weekend"; let's pencil it in.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend..I'm off to call Di now.

We've begun our adventures in Charlottesville. A trip to Monticello and an orchard with apples, peaches and grapes. Now anytime we get in the car Ellie will ask, "Mommy, are we going on an adventure?" Be sure to check out our pictures on:
