The Value of money

Ok-

I love to bet horses - especially at Saratoga , no surprises there. But after a while you need to lose value of money. If you are in fear of losing your money while gambling because you should be paying bills , buying your kids food , or whatever - there is a phrase that always rings true , You can't win with Scared Money ... So you MUST lose the Value of it eventually or have enough money that you go through everyday life as a millionaire without worries.

So - this year the cost of programs went up at the track. No big deal you say. Well when the exact same program cost $0.50 cent years ago and until last year in was $1.25. Well for the 2009 season its $2.50 !! Yes I said a 100 % increase for the same pieces of paper. I already buy the Daily Racing Form everyday at $6.00 a pop - so a program increase like that i didn't need. So i decided not to buy it anymore.

Well yesterday - it took a giant bite out of my ass. After a friend looked at my tickets he asked me why I had the 11 and not the 10 since I had the 10 horse on my website. So i checked and hoped for the best because i made a mistake. Well you guessed it - the 10 beat the 11 and my tickets were dead because of my mistake. It cost me $4000 !! Yes i said $4000 !!!

So the new program would have cost me $40 more this year than last year and it cost me 100X over ...

And I still won't buy it !! Now they have me mad ... but I am so ridiculously hot , I will get it back without any worries ....
